The Phantom Single Beam Helmet bike light with Smart Switch & Fuel Gauge has the full Jet Lites electronics package, which includes smart charger, smart switch, and fuel gauge. The fuel gauge is a great add on to your battery. It’s always nice to be able to push a button and get an accurate indication of battery power. The 3 light level smart switch allows you to extend your batteries burn time by reducing wattage use. You choose between two power saving settings, 25% and 50% off full power. Use the 50% setting for slow up hill climbs and then as you summit switch back to full power for the daylight express as you descend. Either one of JETs’ 12w or 20w lamps delivers a pure beam of yellow/white light providing excellent ground contrast. The very light 2.7 oz light head can be comfortably mounted anywhere on your helmet. The easy to use aim-as-you-ride helmet mount features JETs’ patented safety breakaway system. The helmet mounts two-piece design will break apart with a 5 lb impact. It can be reassembled in seconds. A must have safety feature if your head comes in contact with the ground or a low hanging tree branch. The 13.2v canister style battery delivers long burn times and maximum brightness at a very reasonable weight. The memory free battery is good for 400 charge and discharge cycles.
