T
he outdoors has been a constant pull for me since early childhood. My father was a geologist and took my family to parks, digs, and ghost towns throughout the United States. Some of my fond and special memories were fishing in the Sierras with my dad and brother.
Now as an outdoor enthusiast, I look for challenges in the outdoors: windsurfing, learning to kite buggy, skydiving, biking and a good hike. "Mixing things up gets you out and about," I say. I enjoy pushing the envelope to some degree, but never to much.
I created Outdoor Sportz for this reason, to be the place to find outdoor products, and services people can’t easily find elsewhere. I enjoy the challenge of searching for the hard-to-find, and being on top of my game. I enjoy working with employees who are happy, and enjoy the outdoors too.
I also love sharing the outdoor experience with kids and friends. I enjoy teaching kiting and other outdoor activities, and I enjoy sharing it with different people in different kinds of environments.
My goal for 2006 is to get trained in an ultralight aircraft and donate my time to Search and Rescue. To continue our community outreach program with kids, and to explore new ways for Outdoor Sportz to grow into the Cutting edge world of technology.
